In an effort to increase impact PCs for People has launched a computer refurbisher affiliate program. Through this program PCs for People shares custom automated refurbishing tools with non-profit refurbishers from across the US. Affiliates leverage the tools to produce high quality refurbished computers and PCsrefurbished.com serves as a common platform for thousands of people to benefit from our collaborative effort.

PCs for People is a national nonprofit working to get low-cost quality computers and internet into the homes of individuals and families with low income. By recycling and then refurbishing computers, PCs for People provides a valuable service to businesses, families, and the planet by keeping computers out of landfills and repurposing them to advance digital inclusion. Since 1998, PCs for People has become a national leader in digital inclusion by serving over 825,000 individuals, providing 260,000 home computers, connecting 92,000 households to the internet, and responsibly recycling over 13 million pounds of electronic waste through the secure e-waste recycling service. Human-I-T is a social enterprise that provides devices, internet access, digital skills training, and tech support to people who don't have access to those things while, at the same time making it easy for businesses and organizations to do good and protect the environment by donating their old technology instead of recycling it. As you look around, look for devices marked with the letters ACP. This stands for Affordable Connectivity Program, which means that device is eligible to have its price reduced even more if you buy a hotspot and establish new internet service through Human-I-T as part of the ACP.
